Have you ever wondered where you should start your Rental or Home search?
With the amount of sites out there promoting searches for rentals and homes, it is very easy to become frustrated and to choose the wrong site for your search.
The following tips will help you in your searches, while also limiting frustration commonly found when viewing old and expired inventory, and also limiting the chance of possible Fraud.
Here are Three tips on which sites to use for your Rental and Home search.
Realtor.com is a national site that feeds their Real Estate inventory and data from all the local Multiple Listing Services throughout the country. If you want to find a reputable site and inventory that is almost 95% accurate, then use Realtor.com.
Use a local Brokerage website for your search.
If you want to find a site that will show you inventory that is available, my second recommendation is to use a local Real Estate Brokerage firm for your search. The local firm subscribes to the local MLS, providing all inventory data fed onto to their own company sites.
Use a local REALTOR® as your contact for your searches.
The REALTOR® will begin a local MLS search for you, while also referring you to their own website for additional rental/home searches.
