Learn your Transportation and Commute routes
If you will be using public transportation as part of your everyday commute, you can use the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) and ATLtransit as excellent website sources for your trip planning.
If you have school aged children or perhaps need to research school ratings, the below websites will be an excellent source of information for your research.
Become familiar with your local Community
If you are new to the City, you definitely want to become familiar with your surrounding and community amenities. Thanks to today’s technology, it is easy to now find local shops, restaurants, parks, hospitals, etc. right from our phones. Use that information to Google and familiarize yourself with your new City. If you are looking for things to do or restaurants to try, using the local Convention and Visitors Bureau for your City will be very helpful.
