Because of a partnership between the City of Alpharetta Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Milton; on Dec. 1 2012, Milton and Alpharetta established a regionalized Parks System for both Cities and dissolved all non-resident fees at current and future City facilities. Recreation and Parks Administrative Office

Alpharetta Community Center

Crabapple Government Center/ Arts Center

The Center is open some evenings and weekends during scheduled programs.

Location: Broadwell Road is located off Rucker Rd./Old Milton Parkway (West of Highway 9) at 3-way stop. Building is at corner intersection of Broadwell Road, Mayfield Road, Crabapple Rd. and Birmingham Highway.

Facilities: Gymnasium, multi-purpose room, art class rooms.

Alpharetta City Pool

Union Hill Park

Location: Little Pine Trail is off Union Hill Parkway off Windward Parkway (East of 400).

Directions from GA 400:  Take Windward Parkway exit; go east for approximately 1.5 miles.  Turn left onto Union Hill Road; go approximately .25 miles.  Turn left onto Little Pine Trail; turn right into Union Hill Park.

Park Amenities: 2 outdoor roller hockey rinks (1 covered), concession stand.

Webb Bridge Park

Location: On Old Milton Parkway (East of 400) take North Point Parkway (North) to Webb Bridge Road (East). At the intersection of Webb Bridge Way and Webb Bridge Road (near Alpharetta Post Office), turn left onto Webb Bridge Road.  Park entrance is on left before the cul-de-sac.

Park amenities: 2 grass soccer fields, 1 multi-purpose synthetic turf field, 4 baseball fields, 4 tennis courts, walking trail, arboretum, concession stands, 3 picnic pavilions (first come, first serve), and Webb Zone Playground.  Webb Bridge Park is home to Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association.

Wills Park

Location: 110 acre park located on Old Milton Parkway (West of 400 and West of Highway 9).

From GA 400:  Take Old Milton Pkwy exit towards Alpharetta.  Go approximately 2 miles.  Wills Park is located on Old Milton Parkway between Roswell Street and Wills Road.

Facilities: 7 grass baseball fields, 1 synthetic turf baseball field, 2 tee ball fields, 5 picnic pavilions, Wacky World Playground, 2 smaller playgrounds, disc golf course, 6 lighted tennis courts, 1.8 mile walking trail, Alpharetta Community Garden, and Alpharetta Arboretum at Wills Park.  Wills Park is home to Alpharetta Youth Baseball Association.

Wills Park Equestrian Center

Wills Park Equestrian Center is located on 50 rolling acres of fields and woods. There are eight shed row type barns with covered aisle ways, nestled in amongst the trees with a total of 298 stalls. The covered ring is 150 by 350 feet housing its own show office, announcers booth, viewing room, rest rooms, raised bleacher seating and picnic area. There are two uncovered rings with all weather footing, each measuring 125 by 225 feet. They share a show office and announcer’s tower, which also offers a meeting room for civic clubs and other organizations. In addition to the three show rings there are two separate schooling rings. A concession stand with restrooms is centrally located and a bathhouse, complete with showers, is located in the stable area. Wills Park Equestrian Center offers ample paved parking areas with camper hook-ups for thirty campers.

From GA 400 at Old Milton Parkway exit.  Head towards Alpharetta.  Go approximately 2.5 miles.  Turn left onto Wills Road.  Wills Park Equestrian Center will be on your left just before Highway 9 intersection.

Covered arena and 4 outside rings, 2.5 acre event lawn, 298 horse stalls, 2 show offices, concession stand with restrooms and bathhouse, 40 camper hookups (no overnight camping without special permit).

Waggy World Paw Park

Waggy World Paw Park is managed by the City of Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department. With the support of the City’s elected and appointed officials, and the dedication of local volunteers, the Department set aside a beautiful 1.5 acre area behind the Alpharetta Community Center at Wills Park to provide this popular amenity for the citizens and pups of Alpharetta.

Please be advised that during the winter months, some park water fountains are shut off due to freezing temperatures.

Cogburn Road Park

Cogburn Road Park amenities include a .2 mile concrete walking path, restroom facility and passive play area. Two small group pavilions are available on a first come first serve basis for intimate family picnics and celebrations. A large playground serves youth age 2-5 years and 5-12 years.  Park visitors will enjoy the Alpharetta Arboretum at Cogburn Road Park.  For more information or to report a maintenance issue at Cogburn Road Park, please call Alpharetta Recreation and Parks Department at 678-297-6106.

Rock Mill Park

This park is located along Big Creek Greenway at Kimball Bridge Road. In addition to providing much-needed parking for this section of Big Creek Greenway, Rock Mill Park incorporates a variety of environmentally friendly and sustainable aspects, and affords numerous opportunities for citizens to learn about our natural environment. Park amenities include a green roof pavilion and an outdoor classroom designed to focus on the ecological beauty and significance of existing wetlands, forests, and riverine system of Big Creek. A small group pavilion is available for rental, or is available on a first come, first serve basis. Visitor comfort stations and a maintenance hub are also included on this site. Directions: From intersection of Hwy 9 and Old Milton Parkway: Take Old Milton Pkwy east to Westside Pkwy. Turn right. Turn left onto Kimball Bridge Rd. Stay on Kimball Bridge Rd, crossing over North Point Pkwy. At next stoplight, turn left into park.
